Technically speaking, it’s not until tomorrow, but what the heck … we had some most welcome visitors (Tanya, Dan, Oscar, Victor, and Aunt Yvonne) over, so we might as well celebrate one day early, right? 
Delicious cake, wonderful company and some truly awesome gifts! What more could one wish for on one’s 8th birthday?
And it wasn’t even my birthday… in fact, it was the day before Filip’s birthday. We had some visitors (Tanya, Dan, Victor, Oscar, and Aunt Yvonne) to celebrate Filip’s birthday. They were here for one day, so we decided to do all the celebrations. After Filip was presented with his birthday present, Mom and Dad pulled out a “Rabbit” out of their hat for me. It’s so nice to finally have a “smartphone” that works properly and that doesn’t produce serious lag when playing things like Angry Birds

Today, it’s Mom’s 50th Birthday! And of course, she’s gotten flowers!
This weekend we went to Forshaga near Karlstad in Värmland. The roadtrip was brought on by our Grandma Tora’s 90th birthday! A big part of the family on Mom’s side came to honor the oldest lady of them all, as well as a somewhat younger Ronja, who celebrated her 20th birthday at the same time. It was a blast, and we got to meet a lot of people we don’t see so often.
We stayed with aunt Yvonne who lives in Forshaga as well.

On our way back from Forshaga, we stopped by one of Dad’s colleagues, Mats, who lives in Skattkärr with his family. Mats had a really cool trampoline mat (jumping mat), and we had a lot of fun with it together with Mats’ two children, H&M.
What a day! I’m now officially seven years of age, and I feel completely exhausted already! Today has been filled with fun and laughter, a lot of sweet stuff to eat, and many gifts.
Hyper Dash was a cool game I got from my relative Birk & Co. I also got some money from Göran’s mom and dad, a lot of new Lego to build wonderful stuff with, two Wii Games (Mario Galaxy 2 and Anubis 2) as well as my own (and first) digital camera (a Canon Ixus 110; which is a perfect fit for my rather small hands)!
I guess I should have figured out this day would be great.. I mean, how could a day that starts with cold cocoa-milk and a peanut butter sandwich become anything but a great success!?
Party on!
Now, who says you can’t have cozy Mondays? Today dad picked me up from the after-school-center (or “youth recreation center” as the proper translation really reads). Since Alexander was over at his friend Ivan’s place, and Mom had a hairdresser appointment, it was just me and Dad.
So we went to get some grilled chicken and potato salad; for dessert we got fresh pineapple. Oh yes, Dad also got me a Pucko to drink. My Dad really loves Pucko himself (for obvious reasons), but this one was for me!
After a delicious meal, I got to spend time with the computer playing “Childsplay” (or “Schoolsplay” as it’s called nowadays), and when Alexander came back from Ivan’s, we messed around with our digital camera just goofing off.
All in all, I could handle all Mondays being like this!

Today, Viktor and I had our combined birthday party at Laserdome! A wicked cool place for real first-person shooter gaming We had ourselves a blast, literally. There was cake and candy .. but we could have done without it for some more blaster time Of course, my actual birthday is ten days off .. so there’s more good stuff to come!
This weekend I had the pleasure of attending two birthday parties! One on saturday and one on sunday. I was even invited to a third one on friday, but I said “No thanks”. I do need some downtime too sometimes Well, it was a busy weekend, and this coming week it’s time for my second shot of the Swine Flu vaccine – brrr!
